Our Grid Fleece fabric features micro pockets of air space between fabric and body. This means more warmth, heaps of breathability and moisture wicks away faster.

I was really looking for a grid fleece hoodie for thru hiking so wanted it to be as light as possible which this isn't, it's quite heavy weighing in at 500g on my scales so I will never use it for thru hiking but it's a really nice fleece to wear when weight isn't an issue, I should have known it wasn't like a grid fleece in its title Polar fleece and should a stuck with my usual policy of never buying any thru hiking gear on the internet that doesn't specify the weight but I liked the look of it and thought it was worth the gamble. But it's a very comfortable fleece to wear, warm and breathable and I'm happy I bought it.
